Well we are official home owners!! Closing was much more simple than we anticipated. The sellers are wonderful people and we may have found a plumber/electrician if we ever need it. It was definitely a great feeling to hold the keys to our house! We had to wait for Ry to finish his school day before we made the trip to the house but it was worth the wait. We finished our first home project within a few hours. Our new door handles and dead bolts! They look great but now the doors need to be painted haha! We then painted three color options on the wall to try to decide what we like. Still have some deciding to make but it is such an experience to paint your own walls the first time! I will take some more pics of the inside and post them with the next post. Trying to take some before and after shots, just forgot about it on the door handles.
Ry was pretty much outside from the time we arrived until it was too chilly and getting dark. I love that he loves the big yard! 1.2 acres is so nice. We also loved how peaceful and quiet the night was. Haven't slept that well in a while and it was on an air mattress! :) Just wish we didn't have to wait for Ry's school year to end to move. Oh well we have the next 10 years or so in the house, we will be alright for another month. Have a great weekend!
