Merry Christmas!

Wow, already the day after Christmas. My how time flies! We have spent the past 5 days settling into our new house. We celebrated Christmas here just the three of us yesterday morning. It was nice to be just us again. It is also super nice to be able to spend time with family and not have the long drive home. Going to be awesome for the next several months.
To catch up from my last post, I am officially Mysti L. Motz, BSN now!!!! :) Graduation weekend was such a wonderful, crazy, overwhelming, and beautiful experience. I still find myself thinking it can't already be over or there is no way I actually did it, but it is and I did! It is a wonderful feeling to have made the first step on the journey to my dreams and into my career.
After all of the chaos with graduation was over we went back to the packing and moving mind set. Rylence enjoyed his last week of school while I finished out my nursing education with the Hurst review. On our last morning in the old apartment I received an unexpected phone call. I was offered the position in Louisville that I had applied and interviewed for! I am ecstatic! I will be on the night shift and start on February 3rd. I cannot believe I am already at this part of the journey. Really is amazing how some things just work out in the end. Now all I have to do is focus on the NCLEX and start the next chapter of our lives.
As for Christmas, we had a wonderful one. Enjoying the family time and being able to get Rylence the things he enjoys. We are a very blessed family. I hope that all of you have had as great or even better of a Christmas as we did. Now to celebrate the end of an eventful year and the beginning of an equally/more eventful year ahead! Happy Holidays everyone!

XoXo
