Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!!! This is my favorite time of year. The leaves changing and falling away, the cooler days, hot cocoa, sweaters, cuddling up with a nice book, and all the other joys of the holiday season. it is also the time of year that people remember what is actually important and always seem a little more friendly towards each other. However, I am disappointed this year. We have created another day of shopping and seem to be deleting Thanksgiving. Making even more ads about more sales and the importance of buying more items and saving more money. As a country we have become so money and material driven, maybe this has something to do with our current situations.
Anyway, my wonderful sister posted a blog recently about how Rich she was. I too am Rich! I am beyond blessed with the family and friends I have, the ability to do a job I love, and the opportunity to  grow and experience anything I choose. It is my hope that I can always express my gratitude and never lose sight of those wonderful things for the rest of my journey here on earth. I also hope that I can help my fellow man to realize the gifts that he/she already has and to cherish them.  So remember during this holiday season to strip away all the fluff and focus on what matters. Giving a gift is a wonderful thing but it is a temporary gift that will fade so remember to also give the gift of love and time. Hope you enjoyed the rant! :)
Quick update about the Motz house hold. We are starting to pack up the apartment in preparation to move to a rental house in Lafayette. I have interviewed for a RN position in Louisville and will be going for a second interview!!! I only have 4 more tests. In exactly one week I can pick up my cap and gown! Starting to sink in. Matthew is deciding on which college he wants to attend and we are starting to prep for him to take the ACT. He is beginning his journey to a new career. In case you are wondering he is right now considering a Computer science in engineering degree or computer engineering degree. He also found a college that combines the two so that may be the deciding factor. I cannot wait to cheer him on and support him through his journey to a new career. Between finals and graduation I will be busy in the next couple weeks but will be updating as soon as possible. Love to you all!

xoxo
