Light at the end of the tunnel
I cannot believe that in exactly one month I will be graduating with my BSN! It seems surreal ordering graduation invites and paying for my NCLEX. I still have a lot of information to cram inside this brain of mine before that glorious walk but some days the excitement is so hard to contain. It also makes it hard to buckle down and focus on what needs to be done, hehe. Don't worry I am being a good girl and working on what I need to in order to finish my degree, I just don't seem to care as much about when it is finished and the grade I receive for it. The light at the end of the tunnel is becoming closer and closer everyday.
I have started applying to jobs in Louisville and have heard from one nurse recruiter so far requesting more information about my interests. I plan to continue to apply for everything I can and possibly secure a job before obtaining my license. I am also still awaiting a response from Vanderbilt about their nurse residency program. This is not inline with our plans to move out of state but would be really neat if I was accepted.
As far as family life we have been trying to spend as much time together as possible. Halloween was fun. Rylence was able to trick or treat on four different days! He was Iron man again this year and earned way more candy than needed. We have not been traveling as much due to our schedules but have been able to visit with my family in Lafayette the past few weekends. It will be very nice to only have work and family to focus on in a few short months. :) For now it is back to studying so I can finish strong. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
