Fourth of July!

We decided to go down town again for the fourth. It started out as a rainy and dreary day and didn't look to be promising for a better evening but we decided to tough it out for the fireworks. My nephew was still staying with us so the boys were slightly bored to begin with but walking across the footbridge and throwing a football back and forth helped. The free concert was nice and it eventually stopped raining leaving a pretty nice mud bog. The fireworks were awesome as always but Rylence barely made it through them. All in all a great night in Nashville. 

   The next morning it was packing time for regatta. The Ohio river was rising and threatening our boat racing but we figured it would be good family time anyway. The water eventually got the best of the races and the event was cancelled. We did have some great time with the family and seeing the boats on the trailers but definitely not the ideal regatta weekend. Always next year... And hopefully can finally swing the gold cup in Detroit as well... Will have to see what next year brings. May be too far for wither one... Never know.
