Five years

       I missed the date due to prior obligations but Sunday the 19th was Matthew and I's 5th Anniversary! We can't believe it's five years. It really feels like yesterday that he was finally asking me to marry him and we were trying to figure out a date... now we have been married 5 years. 5 years!! lol I think the greatest part is that when he was15 and I 14 we met in person for the first time and after leaving he told his mother that he would marry me someday. After hearing this I laughed and told him I was never getting married and it would probably not be to him since we were so young. And now almost 10 years later here we are. hehe Maybe he was right for once! lol. The other wonderful thing about this day is that we have been able to share it with my brother and his wife who graciously allowed us to use their wedding date. Happy 17th Anniversary again you two!!!! Thanks for showing how its done. :)
   The next wonderful piece of news is that my best friend of 12 years also joined in on the August 19th fun yesterday when she married the man of her dreams, James. We have always wanted to share the same date and this year it so happened to be a Sunday yet again so they chose to match us. We are honored to share the date with a couple so deeply in love and who balance each other so perfectly. We can't wait to be celebrating many milestone anniversaries with the two of you. To be honest I can't think of a better way to spend your anniversary than watching two people meant for each other become one! :) I do enjoy vacations and spending time with Matthew but there is something special about the wedding of your bestie and her other half. I will post pictures once they are available.
oh and Happy Anniversary baby!! I love you more and more each passing day! :)
