Matt's Job Hunting

     So I should have mentioned this in other posts but have had so much on my mind and don't know what all actually needs to be written lol. Matthew decided last weekend (literally last Saturday) that he was going to start actually job hunting. He wrote down a list of companies he saw between Portland and here on his way home. He then went online Monday and applied to all of those and any others he found that was promising. He has requirements but he really isn't being picky about where he applies. It just has to be closer to Murfreesboro, decent pay, and hours we can work around. Well Wednesday he received an e-mail from a company named Leviton. They had been trying to reach him but he must have entered the incorrect number so they wanted him to call them to set up an interview. He had one on Thurday and she asked questions and then told him they would be calling for his second interview with the supervisors. Which is on Monday. So within  a week of looking he has possibly found a job. And it's a pretty great one to take over from the one he currently has. It's only .75 less than he makes now but he is going to be working 40 hours so it's technically more money, and it eliminates about 170 miles of driving a week. Only down falls (that aren't really downfalls just not exactly what he wants) are it's second shift (2:30-11) and he loses his four day weekend. But he gains the actual weekend so we can do more with both sides of the family now! :) Well that is if he gets the job... ;) ( Highly doubt he won't, but we'll see)
      I wanted to share this to show how proud of him I am. He has always made sure he has a job and doesn't mess around. I am the luckiest woman alive! =D Will keep everyone up to date on the outcome. Have a great rest of the weekend.
