August
It's a new month and what is happening at the Motz house you ask? Well My father has moved in with us until he can find a place of his own down here. Ry doesn't quite understand the situation but has sure enjoyed him being here. lol. So that is basically what I have been up to lately. Trying to figure some stuff out for dad and working on Ry's and mine school lists. We met with Ry's teacher on Friday. She was really nice and I think he will enjoy going to preschool. I just wish he wasn't growing so fast! There are going to do a home visit then he will start going half the day this coming friday. His first full day is Mon the 22nd. And I start my classes The following Mon. I have an orientation on the 25th but the real work starts on the 29th. I have finished everything minus a few copies for the nursing program and I am now getting excited! I am worried because I know it will be tough and I will struggle but I can and will do this. It is supposed to challenge me, right? I can't learn if I am not challenged. So I have gotten over the 'fears' I had and am now just ready to jump in and get going. Every day is one step closer to my career. =D
I also made homemade eggplant parmigiana last night. It was pretty good. Definitely different but a great change of pace and healthier too. It even looks good! Matthew actually liked it! It isn't something I will be making all the time but he said it would be good every once in a while. =D That's a big deal for him if you were wondering. He didn't even eat salad when he moved here. lol. Now I am going to look up some other veggie recipes to see if I find something else to substitute some meat every once in a while.
Going to get back to cleaning and googling! =D Have a great Sunday everyone!
