What a weekend!

     So to start out this weekend I woke up to a text from Matthew on Saturday stating that he didn't go in to work. The Miata had broken down on him on the way in. Well my brother went and rescued him off the side of the road. I went up to spend the day with everyone and wait for it to be fixed. We all decided to go to lunch together at Frog Pond BBQ. Before we left Rylence's fingers were closed in the Miata door. The door latched but it didn't break anything just swelled and bruised. He was lucky! We decided to just stay the night so we could cook out on Sunday and enjoy some family time. Matthew went to work Sunday and then came back to Kyle and Sarah's for the cook out. When he arrived at their house we realized that the Miata was leaking. It ended up being the water pump. So we stayed the night again to hopefully fix the car yesterday. It ended up taking all day! It was a roller coaster weekend but everything turned out alright in the end. Only major down fall is that I didn't make it to class this morning from all the sleep inconsistency. I didn't even hear my alarms. I didn't think it would be too big of a deal until I realized I was supposed to have a test this morning! lol When it rains it pours lol. Life is still good and we are still enjoying it just had to go over some bumps and take some detours. We can't enjoy the good unless we have the bad right? :) Hope everyone had a safe and relaxing holiday weekend. As for me it's back to the books and daily chores. Love to all!

P.S. Rylence is fine. He wasn't even mentioning his hand after a few hours and the next day he wasn't even phased till you asked him about it. All the swelling is gone and the bruising is letting up now. :) They are elastic at this age. Thank Goodness!
