Another bites the dust!
And another semester is over. It is hard to believe that I have made it this far as quickly as I have. It also hard to believe that I will be starting on core classes for my degree soon. It is overwhelming and exciting all at the same time! Some days it is more scary than anything but I know I will succeed. I have a wonderful support group. It is just mind blowing that this dream is finally starting to take shape and become reality. For now though I am hoping I can relax some before I start the rough ride of the nursing program. I still have 2 classes this summer but They will be over before I know it. We are going to Regatta the first weekend in July and then 4 days in Virginia Beach 2 weeks after that. By the time it all gets here I will need it. I then plan on spending the rest of my summer break relaxing with my guys and getting a head start on some reading.
Now to change gears. We took Rylence to Bellwood-Bowdoin for his test today. It was basically an aptitude test. The teacher who tested him was impressed and he took to her well. At first he was his normal shy self with people he doesn't know but he warmed up when she was going over things with him and while he was exploring one of the classrooms. She said while she was asking him to match the shape she was holding to the shapes on a paper he looked at her and said, "You mean where is the triangle?" lol That is definitely my son! I just hope he was nice about it. The only problem we had was that he did not want to leave after that. The test only took about 15 mins. total and he has been wanting to go to school since we moved so he was not happy. It was fine by the time we got to the car because we offered ice cream. Ice cream always fixes it! lol We should find out sometime this summer if he will be attending there. I really hope he can. It seems wonderful!
Well that is about all right now between family and school. My goal for the next couple weeks is to relax and work on the apartment. It has gone down hill pretty bad since I have been focusing on school and Matt has been working overtime. Maybe I will be able to get everything clean and organized since I don't really know how to act without something to study or some assignment to work on. :) Time for me to go to bed now though. Planning on grocery shopping then a great day outside for Rylence and I tomorrow. It amazes me how blessed I am! Thank you God for everything!
