Seven Years
A week ago today Matthew and I celebrated seven years of marriage. We can hardly believe it has been seven whole years since we said "I do". We also have moments where our relationship has such harmony that it seems much longer than that. Either way we are truly blessed and are excited to see what the future holds for us.
On the home front, we have been in our new place for just over a month now. Official Kentuckians yet? Maybe not quite but we are on our way! We love the townhome. So far we love Lexington as well. We have not had much time to go exploring but we have been out to dinner and taken walks around the block. Rylence has started school. He really enjoys the new environment and has already made a few friends. He seems to be thriving in the positive and enthusiastic atmosphere that Fayette county schools provides. Oh and Levi had three kittens! So around November 2 we will be looking for good homes... hint hint!
Now that we are finally settling in, the agenda will be focused on Matthew starting his college career. We are still hoping for spring admission but it may be a little later. Moving so late in the summer has pushed back a few of our timeline goals, but we will be there soon! The idea of college has started me on the thought process of where I want my career headed. I still have ample time before I will be applying to schools, but I am currently trying to decide what it is that I want to do with my career. I have so many passions and strengths that I feel like I could do anything but also slightly intimidated by the responsibility that comes with those titles. For now it will be a battle within myself, but hopefully one that can be peacefully settled when the time is right for me to move on. I am blessed to have Matthew as a support and glad that I am finally being given the chance to support him as well as he has supported me. Love you dear!
On another note, there is just over a month until The Martin clans and Motz' make our ways to the Smokey Mountains for a week long retreat. All the families are excited and ready. And such a beautiful time of year! While we are speaking of Martins, Send some positive vibes toward My SIL. She is applying for positions in Lexington so that my brother and her can start their way to KY and be close to us! ( Even if that isn't for Kyle- nothing involving moving is) Matthew and I are extremely excited for her and are hoping that whatever the cosmos has in store for them be exactly what they need and fall in place as well as the previous adventures have. (as long as its in Lexington and soon... hehe).
Well, out of news for the time being. Hope everyone has a great week! Love from the Motz'!
