Quick get away

The Motz crew, joined by new friends from West Virginia, ventured to the Cedars of Lebanon this past weekend for a short camping trip. It was so nice and serene! I have never camped there even though I have lived within an hour of the state park for 15 years. It is a great state park. Has an Olympic size swimming pool and some trails. And there are a more than a dozen caves in the park as well. We did explore one of the caves (not technically allowed due to white noise syndrome with bats, but there weren't any) that was pretty deep and full of beauty. It was full of mud and we were a mess afterwards but had so much fun. Rylence had a blast and was more adventurous than I have ever seen him. We then cooked over the campfire and enjoyed the peace of the outdoors. Nothing special but was a fun get away that we plan to repeat as much as possible this fall. Definitely an under promoted state park that is worth a visit. :)
